...and you can be my sidekick, Bangs McCoy!

Gotta love Scrubs!  Kyle and I watch it everynight as we fall asleep.  We only have two seasons on DVD so we've seen every episode about 10 times, but we never get tired of it!  Anyway, I figure it's about time I posted something worth reading on here.  Many of you know that Kyle and I recently moved to Spokane, Washington.  It's hard to believe we've almost been here for two months!  Things have been very crazy so far.  Kyle quit his career working on golf courses to pursue our dream business (I am so proud of him!!), and I have been working with him and also am working two jobs at two different restaurants.  I can't wait till our business really getts buzzing so I can quit my jobs and help Kyle more.  What an amazing company we work with!  Can you imagine a better business than one that consistantly changes lives for the better in a tremendous way?!  And the pay off is just incredible!  If you know anyone who is looking for work or a way out of what they are currently doing, or even just to make some extra income on the side of what they are currently doing, please let me know!  What we do is so important and I think everyone needs to know about it!  I never imagined such a bright future before joining this company.

Anyway, maybe I can fill you in on what life is like here in Spokane.  First of all, there are a LOT of homeless people here.  If you go out in the middle of the day you almost can't turn a corner that doesn't have some one with a cardboard sign on it.  It is almost like it's own business around here.  There is one lady who I guess is very well known around here.  My step-mom-in-law who used to live here said that she actually has a lot of money, but is a bit looney and doesn't really know what to do with it.  If you try to give her food she will actually get mad at you because she really just wants your cash.  A lot of the homeless people around here sleep in the bushes around the interstate on ramps and exits because thats where they get the best intake.

Okay so another interesting thing about Spokane... everyone here is VERY friendly!  I have hardly met anyone who wasn't just delighted to meet me, and to get to know me!  We've already made more friends than we had in St. George after living there for over a year!  Also, there are a surprising amount of members here which is so great!  The church is very strong here.

Kyle actually has a lot of relatives up here that he hadn't met before.  We've been to see many of them now and they are all just the nicest people you'll ever meet.  One of his dads cousins is in our ward and used to be the bishop, so everyone in the ward feels like they already know us just because of our last name.

The weather here is really nice!  For those of you who are thinking Washington = lots and lots of rain, I should tell you, we really havent gotten that much rain.  Certainly there is more than in Southern Utah, but its just the right amout, and we love it.  It cools off quite a bit at night in during the day on average is around 80 degrees.  The winters have been pretty killer the last couple years, so we'll see how that goes, but we both love the snow so I think we'll like getting snowed in.

Well that is enough information for one day, but please, if anyone wants to come up for a visit do not hesitate!  We don't have an extra bed, but if you bring an air mattress with you we've got plenty of room for it!

Peace!
